A Champion for Change: The Inspiring Story of Samira Bawumia

Hajia Samira Bawumia, the former Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana, is one such person. She is a multi-lingual and highly educated individual, holding a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), where she was awarded the Best Student in her year. In 2023, she furthered her academic pursuits, earning a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London.

Samira Bawumia is the founder and CEO of the Samira Empowerment and Humanitarian Projects (SEHP), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable populations. Beyond her humanitarian work, Samira Bawumia has been a prominent political figure, advocating for good governance and supporting her husband, former Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia.
